Beach Bash

2012 Tournament April 28-29, 2012

We are excited to announce that the 2012 Beach Bash will be held at Cape Henlopen High School on 2 artificial turf fields, and 2 Bermuda grass fields.  Cape Henlopen High School is located in Lewes, DE, and is only 10 minutes north of Rehoboth (closer than our previous location).  Due to the limited number of fields, we can only accept a total of 32 teams this year - this includes 16 U19 teams, and 16 Adult teams.

Online Registration is REQUIRED and opens at NOON on Friday, January 13, 2012.  Please register ASAP to guarantee your spot!

2011 Tournament Wrap Up

Thank you to the teams that participated in Baltimore Field Hockey Association (BFHA)'s 12th Annual BEACH BASH Field Hockey Tournament April 30 – May 1, 2011 at Hudson Fields (15 minutes North of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware).

We hope that you and your teams enjoyed yourselves at our 12th Beach Bash tournament.   Our goal when planning the tournament is to always provide a fun weekend of competitive hockey, combined with the great resort town atmosphere, and an excuse to get-away with your closest hockey friends.    We hope that we accomplished that goal.  We also hope that everyone enjoyed the new schedule format this year.  We think it provided everyone a little more time to relax and enjoy yourselves off of the field.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the high school teams who picked up an extra game to fill in for the missing team.  We realize the schedule was tough for that situation, as many of you ended up playing 3 games in a row in order to help us out.  Not to mention that your additional match was in a more difficult division.  So, thank you very much to those who helped us out!  We would also like to thank Scott from Behind the Back for donating the championship shirts, and Malik for donating the trophies and the MVP sticks.  

We would also like to thank everyone who participated in our first ever Got Skills? Challenge.  The event was a big success and a lot of fun!   We had an exciting finish for the High School division of this event.  Ali Sewell of Easton and Jess B. from Long Reach were tied with 5 points.  After a flick-off, Ali was victorious in sinking the first 2 point shot to secure the high score.  Congratulations!  Shannon Troyer was our adult top scorer with 9 points.
