Non BFHA Tournaments

Tournaments We Play!

BFHA sends travel teams to play in a number of indoor and outdoor tournaments throughout the year, in addition to the tournaments BFHA hosts and plays. This allows BFHA players to see the hockey world outside of Baltimore, and play at a higher level of competitive play.

We have sent teams to play in the National Field Hockey Festival in California and Florida (each November) as well as a variety of regional tournaments in DC, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and Delaware. Many of the tournaments involve travel and possibly overnight or longer stays. Depending on the tournament, men may or may not be able to play.

For additional opportunities to play, check out the MavSPorts 2011/2012 tournament schedule or email .

 SPark League for Boys

SPark will once again be hosting a boys' program this year.  This year we have made two important adjustments:

  1. We are hoping to expand the trainings into a league for the 2nd half of the season.
  2. We will be taking a representative team to the Big Apple Tournament in February (18th and 19th) to avoid conflicting with spring sports.

We need two things from those of you on this list:

  1. If you are a boy, come to the meeting next Thursday at 6:30pm.
  2. If you are not a boy, then please spread the word and help us build on what was a very exciting and successful inaugural season!

All practices must be attended (13 in all), however under extenuating circumstance if practice is missed, a maximum of two will be allowed, any more and your place on the team is forfeit without refund.
