Ravens Fundraiser Sunday, 11/18/07 - Come join the fun!
This year's fall fundraiser is to work a Ravens game. The date selected
is Nov 18th. It is a 1pm game and most likely we will need to meet around
9:30 outside the stadium. Groups are deployed to different parts of the
stadium to give out fliers (last year it was a team poster) for an hour
or so as fans come into the stadium. Usually after that we are sent to do
security (which means watch the game inside the stands)!
It is about 4-6 hours of work and we make about $7/hr. We would love to
have you, a friend, roommate, neighbor, loved one come and help. Last year
we had a lot of fun. They provide free parking and a shuttle to/from stadium.
Of course taking the light rail or metro is an option too.
If we have over 21 volunteers, they chip in an extra $5/person for the day.
We also get food vouchers. Food is 1/2 price.
